Remember the Eternal King

Description

So here it is, the winter time of year again,
Christmas gifts, trees, and commercials people still try to retain.
May will say that's all it will ever remain;
They believe its the it factor, and that it is okay to contain,
But out if it, what will they really stand to gain?

As Christmas comes nearer than bay,
Little do they know, what's behind the season today.
Beyond the commercialized factors that do nothing but deceive,
Blinding all from the real reason to ever believe.

A Real and Undiluted Truth that many seem to ignore,
But yet, forever will it endure,
The Greatest Story ever told forevermore:

On that night only, an extraordinary prophecy came true,
Whose Mighty Word is Living, just and pure;
A Savior from above as prophesied, of God Almighty He was sent,
Which brought salvation to all, both the bitter and content,
And giving the chance for all sinners to repent.

On that night only, a child is born,
A Messiah coming to redeem the world, not just His own,
Whose Great and Glorious Name is above all names even known:
Jesus Christ, the King of kings, the Light of the world ever brightly shining,
Whose Almighty reign is eternally everlasting,
Paying at the cross, the ultimate price of our sin,
The Lord of lords, whose Heavenly Father is the Creator of everything,
As angels and shepherds rejoice at the annunciation, all hailing the Sovereign King!

The Wise men from the East coming to seek Truth,
Following the bright star shining through,
Bringing the newborn King, 3 gifts in appreciation,
And fell to worship Him in adoration;
Despite the wicked tactics King Herod had tried to formulate,
They obeyed the Lord God wholly, and did not retaliate.

This is more than Christmas this day, be it morning or evening,
Whether be the end of it, or its beginning,
Bear in mind this one important thing,
That really makes Christmas and everyday the everything:
Remember the Eternal King.
Jesus.

NOTE: Probably a long poem but, I'll like to get something straight.

There is more to Christmas than what the world thinks. I mean, whenever somebody mentions Christmas, everybody jumps, and they start thinking about food, gifts, throwing a Christmas party, going all-out Christmas shopping until every penny goes dropping out of their pockets; and anytime TV mentions it, they go so commercialized, that they even frequently feature Santa Claus using the same old Coca-Cola advert, and sometimes throw a parade featuring reindeers and sleighs.

Hold the breaks.

Okay, the birth of Jesus Christ the Son of God, the Savior of the World, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world, is indeed true and real. His birth was not mere; it was also a prophecy. The Prophet Isaiah, through God made the prophecies of His birth, His death and Resurrection, (Isaiah 9:6-7; Isaiah 53:1-6) which all came true in the New Testament (Luke 1:30-33). The world we live in now was once perfect; but after the fall of man, it was ruined, causing all manner of sin to creep into the world, making the human race to turn its back on God and commit all manner of sin, wickedness, and evil-doing in His sight.
But then, one night only changed the world forever, as He sent His One and Only Son Jesus Christ to earth. His birth brought salvation to not only the people in Bethlehem, but also to the world.
And Jesus died for your sins, my sins, our sins, and the sins of the whole world,  so that they, we, can be set free from the bondage of sin. Its no fable, people, its real.

And when you think about Christmas, let's turn back the clocks to how it all started:

And just to add to that, Jesus should be celebrated everyday, not just during Christmas alone. His birth, crucifixion and Resurrection wasn't for nothing. Unfortunately, the origins of Christmas .... wayy creepy
